Completely Built CNC machine with concrete base. (part 1)

This documentation contains photos and description of my CNC machine construction and development process. I started to build my CNC milling machine two year ago and had finished over a year ago. This machine built by used part, i took from more than one used or broken machine.
CNC Base part i built from EX howatech CNC mill base part. this part is made of concrete with cast iron column.
Part that supported by 4 cast iron column is concrete with mild steal bolted on top side, and also middle side. First time i find this part was make me confused. I believe that this made from casting iron, but this material blend my twist drill when i try to make some hole of this. Strange chip was taken off from my drilling spot It's like just a dust and sand out from that hole. I strike some corner with hummer and this is the re

Howatech was built a concrete machine and i found one. Concrete machine was discussed in many forum but just only a few people interest to make it. Now I had it from an old, used, and broken CNC machine. I decide to build it again with some part that i found from other broken CNC machine. Here is some part I instal......
This is X axis that I put on two side of highest mounting plate on my CNC base. There are 35 mm mild steal that i use to make mounting axes here. The part look rusty but I has been clean up this now.
The Y axes using linear actuating system from ex manipulator support of my robo arm. I need mounting plate to install this part now.
Both of axes has powered by 200w mitsubishi servo motor. I chose belt transmission method to transmit power from motor to ball screw. X axes use 5mm pith ball screw and also z axes. Y axes use 1 inch pitch of ball screw ( this make trouble when I was set parameter of controller )
The next picture will show the machine on half finished.

To be continued........................
